October 2019 marks the 150th anniversary of the signing of the Austro-Japanese friendship, trade and shipping treaty. On this occasion, students of the Japanese Studies program of the University of Vienna, under supervision of journalist Judith Brandner, have researched various aspects concerning the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
The results of their research are now presented to the public on a dedicated website.
